FAQs

As a good fit with your therapist is a key part of therapy, Resilience Psychology offers a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to understand what brings you in and how we may be of service to you. From there, we will schedule an initial session to get to know each other, gain a better understanding of your present problems and therapeutic goals, and start working together.

Therapy appointments typically occur on a weekly basis and at the same day and time. Intensive sessions are also available. All appointments are offered via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms and available across Colorado and 41 other states via PsyPact.

Treatment length depends on your goals and unique circumstances. While some clients benefit from a single intensive session, many benefit from ongoing individual therapy sessions. Contact us today to discuss your personalized treatment plan.

Resilience Psychology is in the process of becoming an in-network provider with Aetna and United Healthcare. As plans vary, it is recommended that you check with your insurance provider for specific coverage details before your first session. Please be advised that insurance companies require a diagnosis for treatment. Private pay options are available for clients who would like to ensure maximum privacy. For clients with other insurance coverage, a superbill that you may submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement can be provided.

Please cancel appointments 24-hours before your appointment time. Appointments cancelled after the 24-hour period will be charged the full fee except for emergencies.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. We are happy to provide a Good Faith Estimate so please ask before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call CMS at 1-800-985-3059.
