About

Working With Resilience Psychology

When you work with Resilience Psychology, work with a psychologist who is trauma-informed, multiculturally-sensitive, and focused on your growth and healing. Ask about the following treatment modalities:

Modalities available include:

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Builds psychological flexibility and helps align behavior with deeply held values.
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifies and changes unhelpful thoughts and behavioral patterns.
    • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Teaches mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation skills.
    • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): Uses emotions as pathways to healing and authentic connection.
    • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Facilitates trauma processing through bilateral stimulation to reduce emotional distress.
    • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helps you understand and harmonize internal “parts” to foster self-leadership and healing.
    • Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT): Addresses neuroplastic pain by retraining the brain’s response to physical and emotional signals.
    • Psychodynamic Therapy: Explores unconscious patterns shaped by early experiences to promote insight and long-term change.

FAQs

As a good fit with your therapist is a key part of therapy, Resilience Psychology offers a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to understand what brings you in and how we may be of service to you. From there, we will schedule an initial session to get to know each other, gain a better understanding of your present problems and therapeutic goals, and start working together.

Therapy appointments typically occur on a weekly basis and at the same day and time. Intensive sessions are also available for those seeking quicker results. Appointments are offered in-person at Parker or Greenwood Village and online via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms across Colorado and 41 other states via PsyPact.

Treatment length depends on your goals and unique circumstances. While some clients benefit from a single intensive session, many benefit from ongoing individual therapy sessions. Contact us today to discuss your personalized treatment plan.
